Last month, two badass companies joined forces to create one seriously incredible motorcycle… in just 72 hours. Hammerhead Industries set up camp at the San Francisco headquarters of Triple Aught Design as the final leg of their Gasoline and Caffeine Tour to attempt the feat, which normally takes 90 days. The resulting Jack Pine bike is a stunning blend of classic cool and everyday usability.
Triple Aught Design manufactures high performance gear and apparel that is just as at home on the streets as it is on the battlefield. They opened up floor space to motorcycle builders, Hammerhead Industries, to build a California spec Jack Pine Triumph Scrambler, built to handle the unforgiving streets of San Francisco. The bike is normally built to order, and requires a 3 month wait to complete. A few sleepless nights and a liberal amount of PBR went into making this one happen in just 3 days.
With a shared underlying philosophy of clean and modern design brought to life using thoroughly modern technology, these two companies are a natural fit, and we’d love to see more if this kind of collaboration. The results speak for themselves.
